“Want to learn about tax assistance for people with disabilities, the Disability Tax Credit, and the Registered Disability Savings Plan?

Disability Alliance BC (DABC) DABC Advocates will provide information on:

  • Filing income taxes and accessing GST/HST/PST tax credits
  • The Working Income Tax Benefit
  • Child Tax Benefits The Disability Tax Credit
  • Registered Disability Savings Plan Grants and Bonds
  • The Endowment 150 Program

DABC will provide information on the benefits of filing a tax return every year, and how DABC advocates can help to file previous years of income taxes for recipients of provincial disability assistance (PWD and PPMB)!

You will learn how to apply for the Disability Tax Credit, a pre-requisite to opening an RDSP and about how to qualify for grants and bonds from the federal government to grow your RDSP. Qualified recipients can receive $1,000 a year in bonds and even more in grants to save for the future.
