We are pleased to share an update on the changes at VPWAS. Peer Navigation in Victoria, Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf will remain in place. Peer Navigation and support will still be provided by Penny (penny@vpwas.org) and Numa (numa@vpwas.org). Please continue to reach out and connect with Penny and Numa.
However, we will be closing our physical office as of June 27. We will continue to share details of our services, which for now will continue remotely, on our website. In closing our office space, we will have more funding and time to dedicate to peer services and look forward to supporting our communities in these ways.
We would like to thank Susan Simo, Manager, Sexual Health and STOP HIV and Ribbon Community for their support at this time. We look forward to continued Peer Navigation services throughout Vancouver Island.
