Our food certificate program offers emergency assistance to members in need. This is on a case by case basis. Also we offer prescription assistance for members who are unable to pay for some important prescriptions not covered under MSP or Ministry of Housing and Social Development. This program also helps us cover food costs at important events that bring our members together in a monthly social setting. Our members have commented on how this affects their lives and brings them out of the darkness of being alone.
The Provincial Employees Community Service Fund has supported our PozAble Living Program since 2000. The PozAble Living Program provides members an opportunity to take part in a variety of healthy social and recreational activities
Save-On Foods-Westside Village Victoria, BC
Save-On Foods has been a wonderful supporter of VIPWAS for many years.
The Save-On Gift Cards we provide enable our members to purchase fresh produce, and other perishables to meet their nutritional needs.
Salt Spring Coffee Company has been a generous supporter since 1999. They donate all the coffee used at our office.
Sukhi Lalli has been a long time supporter of people with HIV and has been extremely generous to this organization.
Sukhi has a Pharmacy and Care Clinic at 1139 Yates St. He offers a variety of health and wellness options as well as private pharmaceutical consultations.
