Study Recruitment: Examining the influence of pre-treatment HIV experiences on older gay men’s contemporary constructions of quality of life (QOL)

The purpose of this study is to deepen understandings of how experiences during the pre-treatment HIV period (i.e. approximately 1981-1996) – including clinical encounters, grief and loss, and sustained discrimination – have informed current perspectives of quality of life (QOL) and strategies to enhance well-being in the context of aging. Ultimately, the findings will contribute to meaningfully supporting the psychosocial well-being of older gay men.
