Vancouver Island PWA Society's
Annual Red Ribbon Campaign

We are looking for volunteers to help us operate our Red Ribbon Campaign. This campaign involves canvassing the public during AIDS Awareness Week and offering them Red Ribbons to wear in support of those living with or in memory of HIV/AIDS.
You will also be accepting donations during this Awareness Campaign.

Please call the office at 382-07927 to add your name to the volunteer list. Information and orientation sessions are taking place. Friday November 16th, 2007 at 3:30 pm, Wednesday November 21st at 3:30pm and Friday November 23rd at 5:30 pm for the convenience of all those that work different shifts or daytime hours.

Due to the recent funding cuts from our primary funder these fundraisiers are of the utmost importance to keeping our programs running. Assistance and life enhancement programs are not funded through our primary funder. They never have been. To continue with our very popular and much needed Food Certificate program we need your assistance to raise funds for the coming year.

To donate to our Red Ribbon Campaign, you can donate directly to the Society. All donations exceeding $25.00 are eligible for a tax deductible receipt. We accept Cash or Cheque or Money Order. You can also donate online using your credit card at our Donate Now link on the homepage.

Volunteer Opportunities Page is a work in progress! As it continually changes, please come back and check our volunteer opportunities often.
