Membership with VPWAS is free for anyone living with HIV/AIDS and/ or co-infected with HCV and living on Vancouver Island (including the Gulf Islands).

Membership allows you access of the programs, services and resources offered by VPWAS.

You will also receive email news and events updates (or by snail mail if you prefer; all mail from VPWAS arrives in plain, unmarked envelopes).

Membership also provides you with full voting rights at VPWAS annual general meetings and allows participation in all important decisions that affect the future of VPWAS, giving you the unique opportunity to empower yourself fully and to make a difference in the HIV+ community.

How do I become a member?

Call or drop-in and visit us at VPWAS and we’ll be happy to chat with you and get the process started.

  1. Download and complete the VPWAS membership application form.
  2. Have a doctor or other health care provider sign your application to verify your sero-status.
  3. Return your application form by mail or in person to VPWAS.
