VPWAS Positive Wellness Program provides complementary holistic therapies such as massage, acupuncture, naturopathy, more to promote your well being, practitioners are professionals who understand needs of people living with HIV. The program services will be offered in our office and in the community at a discount or special rate.

Needs Assessment
VPWAS is pleased to announce that we have received a Community Grant from the Victoria Foundation to develop a program of Complementary Health Care Services for People Living with HIV and/or Hepatitis C.
The program will be a mix of services offered in our office and services offered in the community at a discount or special rate.
Complementary health care may include things like:
- acupuncture
- massage
- reiki
- counselling
- nutrition advice
- healing touch
- hypnotherapy
The program will also create a Community Health Fund that can be accessed by VPWAS members to cover costs of medical supplies or treatments not otherwise covered by income assistance or disability.
